Description: Silver plate gifted to the Bar Harbor gardening club by Beatrix Farrand to be the award for the best single roses category, then given to Mary Hodgkins as an prize for her single rose. Text engraved on plate reads: "A gift to the Bar Harbor Garden Club from Beatrix Farrand owner of Reef Point Gardens An award to be given annually for the best exhibit of Single Roses 1953"
Description: Wood and metal telescope (.03) and wood case (.01) presented to Captain Richard Hamor for assisting the British ship "Dominica" when it had caught fire on August 3rd, 1860. Corresponding letter(.02) is from the Royal Admiralty explaining the incident and how Richard Hamor and Aaron S. Lanfor both were awarded telescopes in thanks for their help. It is addressed to R.W. Gillen and dated 8th August, 1958.
Description: Small cordial glass made up of a clear glass sitting in silver with engraved scroll patterns on the cup and on the foot. Engraved also are the initials "FSB". Belonged to Fanny Schermerhorn Bridgham.
